Independence Day 2025: The nation is celebrating its 79th Independence Day, and that’s one more year since the country got its freedom way back in 1947. And just like a well-fought cricket match, India’s road to independence was full of grit and determination. With freedom fighters fighting from the front to those who worked quietly, each contribution was significant and quite similar to each player’s role in helping the team win the match.
Since India’s flag is being hoisted in all corners of the country, the Indian cricket fraternity took to their official media account and extended their wishes to the fans.
Gautam Gambhir, who is the head coach of the Indian cricket team, shared a picture of the flag and wrote the caption, “My country, my identity, my life! Jai Hind,” and thus showed his patriotic pride.
