NEET-UG Retest: The Ministry of Education and the National Testing Agency (NTA) have implemented extensive security measures for the NEET-UG 2026 retest, including isolating all personnel involved in preparing the question paper at a secure undisclosed location until the retest examination concludes on June 21.
The NEET-UG retest is scheduled to be held on June 21 from 2 pm to 5.15 pm across 551 cities in India and 14 cities abroad, after the original examiniation was cancelled in the wake of the paper leak controversy.
As per media reports, individuals involved in setting, moderating and translating the question paper have been placed under strict communication restrictions. Mobile phones, laptops, smartwatches and other personal electronic devices have either been prohibited or tightly regulated, while internet access and contact with the outside world have been severely restricted.
Authorities have also implemented round-the-clock monitoring at the secure facility, with entry limited to authorised personnel and all movements being documented.
