NEET UG 2026 re-exam: Provisional answer key challenge window opens, steps to apply

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the provisional answer key challenge window for the NEET-UG 2026 re-exam. Students can challenge the provisional answer key. The facility is available through the official NEET portal and will remain open until 11:50 PM on June 28.

Those who wish to submit objections against the answer key have to provide documentary evidence from NCERT books or other recognised standard textbooks.

The agency has also stated that challenges accepted after expert review will qualify for a refund of the prescribed processing fee. The objection window is open from June 25 to June 28, 2026.

  • Visit the official NEET website.
  • Log in using the application number and password/date of birth.
  • Click on the Answer Key Challenge link.
  • Select the question(s) you wish to challenge.
  • Upload supporting documents or proof, if required.
  • Pay Rs 200 per challenged question through the online payment gateway.
  • Submit the challenge and download the confirmation page for future reference.
